Encounter with the Voice

with No Comments

There are moments in life when the ordinary peels away, and something deeper—something far more mysterious—steps in.

I didn’t go looking for it. I was just walking. Trees swayed around me like tired giants, and the air hung heavy with the silence of early dusk. It was supposed to be just another evening stroll—until I heard it.

The voice.

It wasn’t like any human voice. Not whisper, not echo. It didn’t come from behind, above, or beside me. It came from within, yet outside at the same time. A gentle murmur. A soft command. No words, just a knowing. Like someone was sharing a secret they weren’t supposed to.

I stopped walking. My breath caught in my chest. Every part of me wanted to ignore it. To chalk it up to wind or imagination. But this was different. Too real. Too pointed.

And then came the message: “You’re not alone.”

Chills traced down my spine. My eyes scanned the woods. Nothing. No animals. No other hikers. Just stillness—and that strange, sacred silence that often follows something unexplainable.

I didn’t run. I didn’t move. For a moment, I just existed in that space. A moment stitched with fear, awe, and an eerie calm.

Had I encountered something beyond our understanding? Was it spirit? Was it a deeper part of me trying to break through the noise of life?

To this day, I don’t have answers. But I carry that moment with me. It was a reminder that reality isn’t always as solid as we think. Sometimes, the veil lifts. Sometimes, the unknown whispers.

And sometimes… we hear it. Check out the story Human Design Journey

Listen to the wisdom of Rainer Maria Rilke, in “Letters to a Young Poet”: “Do not assume that he who seeks to comfort you now, lives untroubled among the simple and quiet words that sometimes do you good. His life may also have much sadness and difficulty that remains far beyond yours. Were it otherwise, he would never have been able to find these words.” Remember, a wellness coach can only take you as deep as their own journey has taken them.
