The Mythic Journey of Wisteria & Aster

🌿Wisteria & Aster: A Tale of Earth and Sky

Shadow Work as Sacred Alchemy

Once, long before time had names, there lived two sisters who were never born and never died.

One was Wisteria, the Earthbound one, whose vines coiled around whatever they could reach. She longed to hold, root, and bloom in the sunlit gaze of others. Her blossoms were breathtaking, but beneath the petals was a hunger—a need to be seen, to matter, to entwine herself so completely that no one could imagine a world without her.

The other was Aster, the Skyborne one, who had stars for eyes and silence for skin. She drifted through the firmament, whispering prophecies into the ears of dreamers. But whenever love or power reached for her, she vanished—dissolving into mist or metamorphosing into an island no one could reach. She was the oracle, the invisible guide, who always knew but never stayed.

The sisters longed for each other. Wisteria wanted to be light, to stop grasping, to rise and let go. Aster wanted to be held, to stop running, to descend & rest.

And so, on a night when the moon forgot her face and the earth held its breath, they met beneath an ancient fig tree, the only place where sky and soil could touch.

Wisteria unwrapped herself from the branches. Aster fell like a star and did not flee.

They wept in each other’s arms, salt & sap mingling. No longer mirror and shadow, but mirror & mirror.

Wisteria laid down her longing. Aster laid down her invisibility.

And together, they planted something neither had ever dared to dream: a garden that touched the sky.

From that night on, they were no longer only the vine or the star.
They were the breath between root & wing, the tether and the wind, the prayer that says:

“I no longer abandon myself to be loved, nor disappear to stay safe.
I bloom. I rise. I remember.”

Both grew roots and wings for the first time—and neither needed to choose between them again.

🌸 Why We Turn Toward Our Shadows

This story is more than myth. It’s an invocation.

Inside her online course Pleasure AlchemyDaniella Matutes leads women on a transformative journey through the archetypal realms—where radiant potential dances with hidden wounds & shadow is not feared, but welcomed.

What archetypes live within you?

For me, Wisteria & Aster emerged—two shadow figures who taught me volumes.
One clings. One disappears. Both long to be seen.

Through Daniella’s powerful prompts, shadow dialogues, movement practices & archetypal rituals, we begin to integrate the parts of ourselves we’ve been taught to exile. We don’t just name our shadows. We reclaim them.

When I first joined Pleasure Alchemy, I wasn’t sure if it was meant for me. I was curious about Daniella’s work with women and the healing power of pleasure—but as a liberated, multi-orgasmic woman now without a sexual companion, I was unsure.
And yet, within the first hour, I knew this was exactly what I needed because I found myself tingling with renewed lifeforce energy—a pulse of vitality and radiance.

🌺 The Blossoming

Daniella and I are now co-creating a larger body of work called BLOSSOM—a sanctuary for archetypal remembrance, sacred creativity, and soul-forged beauty.

Blossom traces the stories of two women.
One, screaming to release her suppressed voice. The other, hiding from the deafening noise of a world gone mad.

Whatever else BLOSSOM is now—or becomes in the future—it is the story of two dreamers.
Every chapter, every oracle, every image, every sound & every beat reflects our longing to meet you & gather with you.

In sacred alchemy, celebrating your pleasure.

Listen to the wisdom of Rainer Maria Rilke, in “Letters to a Young Poet”: “Do not assume that he who seeks to comfort you now, lives untroubled among the simple and quiet words that sometimes do you good. His life may also have much sadness and difficulty that remains far beyond yours. Were it otherwise, he would never have been able to find these words.” Remember, a wellness coach can only take you as deep as their own journey has taken them.
